About the role

As a Client Program Manager at Essence, you'll work on-site with our global client, as well as at Essence’s local office.

You are a proactive self-starter, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and business-focused to help expand the client relationship. Additionally, you're a media advisor and consultant, developing and driving Brand and Performance media strategies and implementing measurement to ensure success.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities will help shape use of advertising solutions. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Marketing teams and understand how range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.


Some of the thing's we'd like you to do:


  • End-to-end program manage YouTube Masthead launch, including booking, setup kick off call with ad operation team, cross-functional project management to ensure a smooth launch and reporting
  • Proactive thought leadership on leveraging products features in new, innovative, and best in class ways
  • Beta/alpha new feature allowlisting and provide guidance on experiment design
  • Implement Lift measurement and contribute to analyzing results to improve overall campaign performance
  • Aid the agency in execution of on-network (Search, Display, Video, Apps) campaigns including troubleshooting and approval escalation
  • Make media recommendations, provide budget estimates and help with post campaign reporting and analysis


A bit about yourself:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years as an Account Manager or equivalent
  • Hands-on campaign management experience 
  • Experience using video ad reservation tools
  • Expert troubleshooting and problem solving ability
  • Expert in using brand lift (reservation and auction) for measurement
  • Expert in digital video advertising
  • Experience in discovery and management of Betas (new product or features)
  • Experience in App Marketing is a plus
  • Agency experience
