In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Hands-on experience with the current live product- an end to end delivery on latest data & tech platforms (visualization/ analytical solution)
  • Self Mooc relevant training to come at par with the job requirement

In six months:

  • Responsible for single product delivery
  • Third-party partner and cross-team collaboration

In 12 months:

  • Product scalability- multi clients/ markets/ domains/ data sources
  • Complete product ownership- SDLC/ Testing/ Rollout/ Maintenance/ Enhancement


What your day job looks like at Wavemaker:

  • Owning the vision for the product and clearly articulating the strategy to management
  • Business & product roadmap planning, developing features and defining requirements taking into account diverse stakeholder needs
  • Work closely with the product development/ System integration/ UI designing team to design and implement application/ product features, intelligence and product strategy.
  • Developing and measure product efficiency through different KPIs to constantly improve product & business outcomes.
  • Responsible to maintain high-quality standards for all the team outputs, data integrations, and SI optimization.
  • Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy for preparing launch plans, determining release goals, prioritizing features and developing new products
  • Provide prioritized direction to the engineering/ development team for features and maintenance
  • Act as liaison between business and technology teams and oversee the day to day analysis of all product-related initiatives to make recommendations to optimize product's functioning to drive sales and enhance the client experience
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of the product on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of the product. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of product & features. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the product.
  • Identify key insights and translate large volumes of complex data into business solutions
  • Collaborate with clients and analysts to understand data analysis requirements data definitions and to develop data mappings, data rules, and data transformations
  • Crystallize the needs of clients and target customers and translate those needs into technical product requirements
  • Agile product owner/ manager in Scaled Agile Framework
  • Define product packaging and documentation requirements, maintain knowledge on competitive offerings and be able to deliver sustainable and scalable market-leading products
  • Provide product training to client and business teams

What you’ll bring:

  • Must have a strong background and proven results in releasing enterprise commercial software or service products with a combination of technical and business acumen.
  • Good understanding of the security marketplace preferably in identity, authentication, encryption & cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of business and web analytics, modern web-based technologies, systems architecture, Prototyping, database design and user experience strategies.
  • Prior work experience in SDLC & programming- python preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle multiple products and navigate the complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
  • Maintain and manage the entire product lifecycle and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clients & customers, product support, service operations, and management, to resolve issues and problems that will affect product success.
  • Know technical service and product capabilities, communicate their benefits and superior value, and support field personnel with solution ideas.
  • Validate product direction, and roadmap with key clients, customers and sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Engineering + Management degree
  • 5-7 years of prior product management experience, ideally managing data & tech-based products, analytics, and cloud services.
  • Concepts of product development: SDLC, Agile development, project and product development/ management
  • Data & Tech stack:
    • Programming experience with R/ Python/ sql, etc… Proficiency level: Advanced
    • Tech: Cloud infrastructure- AWS/ GCP
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and programming ability
  • Leadership skills in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to effectively converse on complex topics from solution concepts to technical details with a diverse group of individuals
