GroupM APAC is looking for a dedicated Regional Senior Finance Manager with demonstrated experiences to oversees the regional consolidated reporting and the accounting functions of local books.

Reporting of the role

In this role, your goals will be:

In 3 months:

  • You will be in pace with the GroupM’s value proposition and familiar with the company culture.
  • Understand the financial reporting, related company policies and operating procedures. Support the month end closing and reporting.

In 6 months:

  • You will be able to make comments on the financial performance and involve in the daily operation of the business and hands on in the supporting functions.

In 12 months:

  • You will be able to provide recommendation, lead and facilitate the change management to drive the operating efficiency and effectiveness.


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversees the accounting functions of regional local office, including financial accounting, bank and payment, financial and management reporting, billing, tax etc.
  • Responsible for regional consolidation reporting and reconciliation with Country and Global Finance.
  • Prepare the regional management reports for actual, forecast and budget  with variance analysis.
  • Communicate Global reporting requirements to regional and country finance by providing guidelines, report templates and procedures.
  • Ensure the finance function complied to SOX and company policies. 
  • Support audit work and communication with internal and external auditors.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects.


 What you will need:

  • Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of accounting and finance experience with preferably multinational companies or listed and sizable companies with multiple legal entities and reporting units. Ideally a mix of audit and commercial experience.
  • Strong financial and management reporting experience is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work with all levels
  • Independent, attentive to details, organized, proactive and eager to learn. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast pace environment.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English
  • High proficient in MS office (Excel and macros). Experience in Hyperion, SAP or similar consolidation and reporting applications is a definite advantage.
