We are currently looking for a Social Lead to join us. In this role, you will be responsible to leads social practice and strategic excellence for GroupM Services and across GroupM agencies, by working across a range of diverse, well-known brands and business portfolios.

GroupM Services Responsibilities:

The GroupM Services team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high-value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.

The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Services Social Buying team and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:

  • Ensure understanding of all GroupM Agencies brand portfolio, deliverables and campaign KPIs
  • Be an expert across media behaviours and how the target audience interacts with social touchpoints (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and any cross-channel delivery
  • Ensure team understanding and compliance with finance process (including end of campaign reconciliation) GroupM policies and procedures
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise
  • Develop and document a thorough understanding of competitor Agency’s social planning Ad execution models, to make GroupM Agencies gain the edge at pitches
  • Incentivize knowledge share, continuous learning of Social trends, new technologies and advocate best practices across teams


What your day job looks like at GroupM:

Plan Development and Maintenance

  • Formulate Paid Social strategies for campaigns, ensuring that recommendations and decisions are consistent, imaginative and deliver results (including construction of media schedule) for all GroupM Agency Planners
  • Oversee Social teams’ outputs to ensure high quality
  • Synthesize information and build our capacity including capabilities in partnership marketing
  • Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations
  • Assume a lead role in building and integrating social efforts, ensuring tight alignment with the business strategy
  • Investigate all new opportunities from a broad perspective to determine opportunities to expand our advisory offering
  • Establish clear goals and timelines across the Social Buying team and provide collective and individual support to achieve optimal results
  • Provide stewardship advising on all Paid Social matters across GroupM Services teams, GroupM Agencies and other divisions
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve process and operations and enhance clients’ campaigns
  • Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time

What you’ll bring:

  • 8++ years of relevant and hands-on Paid Social experience or related media planning experience
  • Track record of building winning teams and client case studies
  • Fortune 100 client facing strategic experience preferred
  • Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business
  • Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, Agency, and industry initiatives
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Leadership skills demonstrated as an ability to anticipate and remove barriers to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals, take effective decisions and challenge the status quo
  • Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for yourself and others, holding teams accountable, focusing on continuous optimization while mitigating risks.
