Overview of job

GroupM Taiwan is looking for a dedicated Finance Manager with demonstrated experiences to handle the finance and accounting functions of the group.

Your daily job looks like:

Monthly

  • Manage monthly closing
  • Flash report
  • Actual packages
  • Review, Analysis and Commentary
  • Review expenses vouchers and manage payments process
Quarterly
  • Quarterly Forecast Report
  • Balance Sheet Control/ Monitor and Reconciliation
  • Quarterly Actual package
  • Balance comparison
  • Client Profitability packages and analysis
  • Corporate Responsibility (CR) package
  • New Business packages
Yearly
  • Year End Package
  • Budget
  • Reconciliation
  • Transfer price report
  • Sox audit support
  • Manage financial and tax audit
Measures of success - 

In three months:
  • You will be in pace with the GroupM’s value proposition and familiar with the company culture
In six months:
  • You will be able to make comments and on the agency’s financial performance and involve in the daily operation of the business and hands on in the supporting functions
In 12 months:
  • You will be able to advise the management team on the strategy and deployment of resources in order to facilitate the management of the business.
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Manage daily accounts operations including maintaining general ledger, periodic financial statements and management reports,
  • Conduct Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting
  •  Maintain SOX compliance and internal control system
  • Support MD and Business Leaders in management of the agency and departments
  • Manage in the development and execution of ad-hoc projects
What you will need:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience preferably with an advertising/marketing company
  • Management reporting and analysis experience is a must
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work with all levels
  • Independent, well-organized, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English
  • Available immediately preferable
