Job title: Director – Analytics, mSixandPartners, India

Location: Mumbai

Overview of job

In your role within the strategy and analytics team, you will be responsible for all campaign analysis, and insight generation for top clients. This position is responsible for all deliverables including, but not limited to, campaign analytics and visualisation, brand lift studies, creative analysis etc.

You will be expected to:

  • Analyze media performance, particularly digital, utilizing innovative analytics techniques to create actionable insights
  • Perform storytelling from data and analyses; persuasively communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients. Also input into campaign planning basis insights from data on an ongoing basis.
  • Set up standardised reporting processes and dashboards.

Measures of success

In three months:

  1. A clear understanding of the campaign dynamics, particularly digital
  2. Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external publishers to get the right set of data in the right formats for analyses
  3. Work with campaign implementation teams in setting up the right naming conventions


In 6 months:

You have a good understanding of the client’s digital campaign objective and tactics deployed. You have built a strong working engagement with clients, through helping them to expand and optimize their digital marketing by leveraging data analytics and mar-tech products.

In 12 months:

You will be an expert in data driven digital marketing, with proven success in tech enablement. You will get the opportunity to work on advanced analytics like Google ADH etc depending on the client.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Use Statistical and Data mining methods to project and explain client performance
  • Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to digital teams at the clients end
  • Identify and partner with external measurement vendors and third-party data providers

Experience looking for:

  • 5 years+ of experience in a senior digital planner/ analyst role
  • Some knowledge of marketing disciplines (including primary research, online advertising, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care)
  • Some Knowledge of programmatic advertising eg: DV360 targeting and ad server tags understanding eg: DCM is mandatory
  • Basic understanding of Adserving and Floodlight tags, digital campaign optimization and programmatic techniques
  • Knowledge of Adobe analytics suite or Google Analytics is a plus
  • Strong excel and analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using statistical and econometric modeling techniques
  • Working and execution knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI is mandatory
  • Programming Knowledge of Python/R based visualization is a plus
  • Possess excellent written, oral communication, project management and presentation skills.
