Position Overview

As a key member of the GroupM organization, reporting to Director, Global Head, [m]Report, you will be responsible for leaving the development, deployment, and support of our APAC & NA roll out of [m]Report. In this role, you bridge analytical, engineering and business worlds as you design technologies with engineers & Datorama teams while simultaneously coordinating with product managers from other regions to build a consistent product at the global level. You have a bias for action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, defining a product vision and strategy, working with your extended product team to execute the strategy, delivering the solution to stakeholders, ensuring proper adoption by all GroupM agencies, and ensuring proper support by GroupM Services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and design data sources to integrate with the existing reporting solution, focusing on the technical design of the data source & integration logic.
  • Work closely with the Business counterparts to understand the various reporting needs for the market.
  • Work closely with other GroupM Services teams with the identified data integrations.
  • Support the implementations teams during the development cycle by answering questions, contacting the business counterparts, and making design decisions.
  • Manage products collateral for the product and make sure it’s readily available to users.
  • Be the point of contact for all technical data related issues and be able to troubleshoot those issues and suggest solutions.
  • Contribute to the product vision and roadmap.
  • Work with the implementation team and product heads on testing and validating the report development and ingested data.
  • Become a product specialist as part of the support process.

Desirable Experience

  • S. degree or higher in a quantitative discipline or other relevant fields with the minimum 6 years’ of relevant work experience are considered
  • The preferred candidate will have demonstrable expertise in product management, specifically with respect to requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., user stories) and roadmap creation. This should include experience managing a global product with geographically diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in data dashboarding and information architecture, ideally including experience of dashboard development platforms such as Datoarma.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with process design and workflow analysis methodologies around product use in data and analytics businesses.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with other regional Product heads to manage any Global requirements.
  • Co-ordinate efforts on data integrity testing for business users.
  • Work with Support Teams to third-party vendors.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with data analysis solutions (data warehouse, ETL, Reports)
  • BI Tools (Datorama, Tableau) & with Development Teams to implement the product.
