The Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Help Desk Administrator to join our IT team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of both Mac and Windows operating systems, a solid foundation in security principles, and the ability to deliver exceptional user support.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for MAC and WINDOWS operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety of the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers and peripheral devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, software, and licenses.
  • Maintain and upgrade operating systems, ensuring all systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address IT needs and challenges.
  • Document and track issues using the helpdesk ticket system.
  • Deliver high-quality service and support to all users.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets, including hardware and stock.
  • Support users with remote access and VPN.
  • Provide support for "BYOD" (Bring Your Own Device) smartphones, iPads, etc.
  • First level incident and service requests management for regional users.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related escalations in the region.
  • Verify acceptable levels of IT security user awareness in the region.
  • Manage relevant IT suppliers in the region.
  • Ensure that corporate IT standards and best practices are implemented and maintained within the region.
 Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of MAC and WINDOWS operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing users in Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of office 365 systems.
  • Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on end-user support.
  • Deep knowledge of MS OS operating system, installations, computer hardware, and networking.
  • Knowledge in corporate applications (such as HubSpot, SAP, Salesforce, Qlik) and business processes is an advantage.
  • Very good human relations, communication skills, and service orientation.
  • Independent employee, fast learner of new systems, technologies, processes, and applications.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, cope with conflicts and stress situations, and work under pressure.
  • Readiness to work in unconventional hours when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly service-oriented with the ability to provide excellent service.
  • Independent, fast learner, and team player with multitasking capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a global company are a plus.
