Salary Range: $96,843 - $121,054

Your Role

Responsible for leading the IT team in delivering exceptional support and services to the organization.  This includes mentoring staff, managing day-to-day operations and ensuing timely resolution of technical issues. Assists with IT project coordination, resource management and supervises IT staff as well as has a hands-on approach with supporting end users.  Assists with deploying technology resources that will support corporate goals and objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years of experience of relevant technical experience and 5+ years of experience in a management role
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably with casinos, food and beverage and/or hotels
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons and facts
  • Proficiency with Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies
  • Advanced overall knowledge of networking, operating system, and server architectures
  • Good overall knowledge of programming concepts, software development cycles, and associated tools and platforms
  • Ability to explain and present technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of applicable IT laws, policies and regulations
  • Strong experience or knowledge of managing budgets for an IT department

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for region-wide operations of IT services, support and infrastructure.
  • Oversees project management for IT-related undertakings, including needs analysis, milestone planning, implementation and project follow up.
  • Assists with developing the IT budget.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends IT solutions that will enhance or improve current business processes.
  • Research, designs, and implements the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity.
  • Supports, prioritizes the workload of IT staff members, and manages their performance by coaching, providing positive and corrective feedback, appraising performance, and administering discipline.
  • Liaises between users, operations, and external IT consultants in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
  • Responsible for the administration of all hardware and software service agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, invoices and warrantees.
  • Creates, maintains, and enforces standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions on new and existing applications.
  • Ensures IT change management procedures are being followed
  • Ensures software, hardware and network installs, re-installs, upgrades, moves, changes and relocations are made when necessary and as required.
  • Creates ad hoc and project related status reports and presents findings to key stakeholders.
  • Stays informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization, business partners, and/or customers.
  • Provides guidance, direction and manages the performance of direct reports.  Ensures appropriate appraisals and accountabilities are undertaken.
  • Coordinates and confers with professional staff to resolve operating issues and makes decisions and provides authorization within the scope of this position.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as required.
