Salary: $52,200.94

Your Role

The Sales and Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting in the development and management of effective promotional marketing strategies and programs to maximize revenue and customer visitation for gaming and food and beverage outlets within the casino. They will also be responsible for overseeing the Guest Services team.

What You Bring

  • Previous Sales experience with a minimum of two years of experience within the Hospitality or Tourism Industry.
  • Diploma or Degree in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, and experience.
  • Experience with the development and execution of business, marketing, sales action plans and operating budgets.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, publishing software, presentation programs, email and web browsers

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and utilize database for client relations and customer solicitation
  • Actively pursues opportunities for the site through sourcing new business and following up on all functions to maximize rebooking potential
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of new promotional ideas and develops promotional partnerships to increase revenues and customer visitation
  • Develops and manage promotions to drive business for Gaming and Food & Beverage
  • Oversee Guest Services department
