The Position
In the role of Ticket Usher, we are looking for candidates who embrace a high level of customer service excellence in seating and assisting patrons in our 5000 seat entertainment complex. If you want to be an integral part of the Entertainment Centre team - we want to hear from you!
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Greet patrons and employ exceptional customer service skills
  • Provide direction and check ticket validity using handheld palm pilot
  • Seat patrons in an efficient and orderly manner
  • Responds to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Ensure adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures including the ability to work closely with Security
  • In the event of an emergency, assist patrons in a safe and organized manner
  • Actively participate in crowd control duties as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Leadership Team
  • Supports Casino Rama Resorts team approach by responding to questions and helping fellow C.R.E.W. members
  • Complies with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations
  • This position can be phsyically demanding including climbing stairs, standing for an entire shift and relocating items up to 25 lbs. in weight
 
What You’ll Require 
  • Previous ticket usher or similar experience considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a entertainment capacity preferred (i.e. theatre, concert venues, etc.)
  • Must be able to deal with customer concerns in a courteous and timely manner
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts as required
  • Ability to handle high volume and a fast paced environment 
  • French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset
  • All employees at Casino Rama are expected to:
    • Comply with the duties of workers or supervisors, as prescribed by Section 27 or 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
    • Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols
    • Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers
