Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all food and beverage service activities through subordinate staff; ensures they have sufficient resources available. Contributes to the menu, department budget, undertakes corrective action, ensures scheduling and expenditures are controlled.
  • Ensures that front-of-house food and beverage offerings are prepared in accordance with predetermined quality standards.
  • Ensures consistent front-of-house food and beverage preparation and the highest calibre of food and beverage presentation and takes advantage of all opportunities to improve upon both.
  • Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of upcoming sports events, products, events and promotions.
  • Ensures customer wishes and their satisfaction is carried out. Organizes food and beverage service for special events.
  • Resolves customer concerns.
  • Ensures profitability of operations by achieving financial and performance goals.
  • Responsible for opening and closing procedures which includes but is not limited to cash-outs and daily sales reporting.
  • Retains a thorough and updated knowledge of company policies and procedures, provincial and local regulations for casino operations, beverage service and food services.
  • Liaises with government regulators that impact the operation of the department.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  • Takes on additional duties including being assigned to other work areas as required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Rock-solid leadership skills and ability to direct and supervise staff.
  • Ability to manage issues and empower a team to excel.

  • Time-management savvy and expert multitasker who thrives in the excitement of casino operations.
  • Strategic thinker who has an eye for detail and a capacity to see the big picture.
