Key Responsibilities
  • Hands on daily responsibilities with the planning, coordination and execution of concerts. Including sole responsibility as Show Lead as assigned
  • Conceptualize, develop and adhere to effective timelines and schedules. Confidently delegate and negotiate with other departments and outside vendors.
  • Maintain entertainment and concert promotional material files in orderly and easy-to-reference manner
  • Liaise with talent buyers/booking agents with respect to concerts, Casino Lounges and various concerts produced by department as required
  • Advance dates with contracted entertainers as directed by supervisor including meticulous attention to contracted accommodations, travel, catering invoicing in a professional and well organized manner
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage Department regarding Back Stage Catering details, generate BEO’s and estimates in a timely fashion
  • Communicate with Reservations regarding rooming lists
  • Assist with developing departmental budgets and maintaining expenses within approved budget restrictions
  • Create and maintain up-to-date general departmental record binder
  • Administrative support to Managers including proposals, contracts, BEO’s, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
 
What You’ll Require
  • Possession of a certificate or diploma in event management preferred
  • Must be organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision within established parameters and work under pressure
  • Must possess an ability to coordinate events from beginning to end
  • Computer skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Stratton Warren preferred
  • Must possess an ability to obtain and communicate accurate information with meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be able to deliver fully completed assigned tasks in a timely manner and to a quality level which meets established departmental guidelines
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule which includes some weeknights and weekend assignments
  • Knowledge of event planning and execution is preferred
  • Ability to be creative, independent and analytically minded
  • French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset

    • Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols
    • Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers
