Salary Range: $73,241-$91,551

As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic decision-making and innovation through advanced data analysis and modeling. You will extract and interpret complex data from multiple sources to generate insights that significantly influence corporate and site-specific marketing strategies, thereby enhancing revenue, customer engagement, and market positioning.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex analytical projects and drive significant business impact.
  • Master degree or higher in either Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Mathematics is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert Analytical Skills: Extensive experience with advanced statistical analysis, data manipulation and data modeling. Proficiency in applying sophisticated algorithms to solve complex business challenges.
  • Data Proficiency: Proven track record in handling and analyzing large-scale datasets, including experience with big data technologies and on-premise data platforms.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, (Python optional), and other relevant programming languages. Experience with data science / data project workflow tools.
  • Visualization and Reporting: Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques, with a strong ability to create compelling and informative dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Tool Mastery: Advanced knowledge of data science tools and workflows, including experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing business strategy and decisions.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in relevant industries and the system (eg. GMS, CMP) such as casino, hospitality, or other high-impact sectors is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Data Insights: Lead the creation of advanced analytical models and dashboards that provide deep insights into marketing performance, customer behavior, and business operations, facilitating strategic decision-making.
  • Innovative Data Solutions: Apply cutting-edge data science techniques, to solve complex business problems and uncover actionable insights.
  • Comprehensive Analysis: Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies, transforming raw data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, and executive teams to integrate data-driven strategies across various business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Data Engineering: Work with Data Warehouse Team to develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support the efficient processing and analysis of large-scale datasets.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of best practices and innovative approaches in data science and analytics. Mentor junior analysts, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other data-related tasks as required to advance business goals and support overall strategic initiatives.
