Key Responsibilities
- As a Dealer you will conduct the play of the table game in a professional, friendly, courteous, and entertaining manner. You will deal your assigned game efficiently in accordance with policies and procedures, and Internal Control Regulations.
- In addition to your duties as a Table Games Dealer the Dual Rate Floor Supervisor shall supervise and observe pit activity, providing direction to front line staff as required.
- Supervise and mentor dealers, providing instruction, assigning duties, and evaluating performance.
- Ensure excellence in customer service and collaborate with the casino team.
- Ensure compliance to gaming standards/regulations and policies/procedures and monitors game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, and that all laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Promote and models the highest level of customer service, ensuring that staff deliver a maximum level of services and customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
- Monitor table floats and determines the outcomes and game irregularities.
- Participate in casino and marketing initiatives and promote events.
- Work quickly to resolve customer complaints
- Ensure all required financial reporting is completed for patron transactions on the gaming floor
- Maintain the sensitive inventory in their assigned section
- Must be aware of Responsible Gaming and Alcohol policies
What You Bring
- Minimum one year experience as a Table Games Dealer is necessary.
- A natural leader who leads by example and encourages collaboration, enthusiasm, and engagement.
- Proactive in preventing and resolving high-pressure situations with ease.
- Detail-focused with exceptional time-management and multitasking skills.
- Enjoy working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of Pai Gow, Roulette, Poker and other casino games is an asset.
- One to two years of experience in a supervisory position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages and a thorough knowledge of all table games
- A post-secondary education or comparable working experience in related fields along with certification from a dealer training school.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures along with AGCO gaming regulations.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills.
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
