Senior National Account Manager, Asia

Role Purpose
To develop and execute business plans to drive profitable growth with our Distributors and key trade partners in targeted Asia markets in order to achieve annual targeted sales and profit goals. To build strong relationships, deliver customer satisfaction, achieve brand and product objectives and excellence in execution.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and develop a current portfolio of Distributors and retail accounts in defined Asia markets.
  • Identify potential new Distribution partners in existing and new markets for Funko brands.
  • Define distribution and retail strategy to support overall commercial development.
  • Establish sales targets, designing and implementing sales strategies to meet the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and client needs for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned market(s).
  • Determine product range strategies in accordance with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain positive proactive business relationships within customer functions (Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, E Commerce, Supply chain, Operations).
  • Build and maintain positive proactive business relationships with Asia licensor partners.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and execute brand and distribution plans to achieve targeted brand features and visibility.
  • Briefing and coordination of creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities with key accounts.
  • Support national events and trade shows.
  • Work with Finance on Distributor and customer pricing and market P&L management.
  • Carry out Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement.
  • Communicate performance reporting.
 What You’ll Bring:
  • Written and verbal Mandarin, Cantonese and English language skills. In addition, Japanese would be  advantageous (this role could also be based in either Hong Kong or Japan).
  • Experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably for a consumer product company managing Asia Distributors and retailers.
  • Knowledge of collectible / toy industry and customer trends.
  • A breadth of knowledge of POP culture.
  • Able to move quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast -paced environment.
  • Results driven and team oriented, with customer focus.
  • Proven negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound commercial acumen with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills and sensitive to number / financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and efficient time management skills.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Asia travel required.
