Online Merchandiser (18-Month Contract)

reports to: Head of e-commerce - emea
Role Purpose
This role is responsible for the day-to-day accuracy of the European website, working closely with the Head of E-Commerce - EMEA to ensure the website is trading to budgeted performance.
This is an ideal role for an individual with hands-on proven experience in online retail to play a pivotal role in the delivery of an ambitious digital growth strategy. We are looking for a pro-active, flexible personality who will own this role in a global fast-paced and entrepreneurial atmosphere.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive the critical path of product uploads, ensuring products are published accurately in a timely fashion
- Ensure all products are strategically and aesthetically merchandised to our FUNKO fans/online customers.
- Support in product selection for new launches, reviewing intake and replen.
- Proactively monitor new product launches in close collaboration with site buyer/planner to ensure all options are quickly and accurately launched on site
- Manage site maintenance for promotional planning and content updates, ensuring site is fully aligned with all marketing initiatives
- Manage set up and running of online promotions, sales and special events
- Prevent product proliferation with timely actions for end of product lifecycle including final markdowns and item deletion
- Support Online Trading Manager with Weekly Sales FC.
- Monitor and analyse web analytics data identifying actionable insights.
- Regular site walks to ensure 100% accuracy at all times
- Support digital marketing with site changes
- Point of contact for Customer Services for queries relating to availability
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience of an ecommerce platform – Sales Force Commerce Cloud
- Demonstrable ecommerce experience from a retail brand
- An understanding of SEO principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident to take the initiative and adopt a flexible, ‘can do’ approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and a positive and proactive ethos; a value adding and solution orientated self-starter with high integrity.
- Ability to work harmoniously globally and cross-functionally
