Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate
We are looking for a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate in our Risk team.
The Compliance Team is an essential component of Funding Circle’s risk management framework which means working to identify, mitigate and monitor our regulatory, reputation and conduct risks. We advise and work with Business Teams to enable compliance with regulatory requirements and Funding Circle policies. Additionally, we monitor and test Business Teams’ adherence to policies and provide assurance to senior management.

The role
Your role as a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate will be to work closely with your Compliance and Business Team colleagues to support the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring & Testing plan. Your testing outputs will provide a clear picture of how the business is complying with its obligations, identify areas for development and make constructive recommendations for improvement.
- Work with teams across the entire business and gain a deep understanding of their processes
- Develop knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to Funding Circle
- Carry out the elements of the Compliance Monitoring & Testing Plan which are assigned to you to give assurance to the business on the control environment
- Organise and undertake your assigned activities efficiently and to a high professional standard, keeping relevant parties informed of progress, and maintain well-organised records of work undertaken
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- An analytical mind-set with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
