POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing a high volume of new customer accounts as well as estimates and invoices. This position also includes other clerical and filing duties associated with this position as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving of customer deductions and disputes
- Professional and timely responses to all inquiries via phone, or e-mail
- Analyze payment patterns and perform account reconciliations as needed
- Timely submission of account adjustments, and credit memos
- Send out invoices
- Process incoming payments
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Issue credit notes
- Follow up with customers regarding past-due invoices
- Update client billing information
- Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
- Process and maintain strict confidentiality for credit card payments via email and phone
- Accurately and detailed completion of vendor forms
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
- 3+ years accounts receivable experience
- 1+ years QuickBooks knowledge and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
