POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator works under the supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager and is responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable department. This includes coordinating with processing and various administrative duties as assigned. Responsible for correctly processing and recording customer payments and checks on a regular basis. Requires good communication skills enabling a team environment designed to resolve A/R issues and collections.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of relevant software programs for processing invoices and recording data
- Resolution of discrepancies related to payments, invoices, etc.
- Proficient in auditing collection and payment activity to identify areas of challenge
- Perform any backup duties as needed with the accounting team and be able to support that team with project-based assignments
- Strong customer service skills will be advantageous to coordinating information between various teams
- Updating of Payment Tracker daily
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
Experience:
- Accounts receivable and QuickBooks experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs and Sheets, and data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills, Time Management, Multi-Tasking, and the ability to meet all deadlines

- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
