What You Will Do

Expense Reports/Reimbursement Accountant is a critical role within our Accounting team and will be a part of our International Accounting Shared Services Operations.  We are looking for a professional who can work cohesively to be part of a team that leads this organization into our next chapter:  Extending our current systems and processes – infrastructure that has served our over 3,000+ customer base, across 70 countries and our over 1,000 employees at revenue levels exceeding $300 million annually – on to the next level:  1,000+ employees and annual revenues approaching $500M.  
This Expense Report Accountant position within our Shared Success Center will be at the center of the action from initial planning to transition from the T&E Team and ongoing operations, providing an amazing opportunity for your talents to make an impact! The role of the Expense Report Accountant is to support the Forescout travel and expense policies through review of expense reports to ensure they are following the company’s travel and expense policies. The role includes working as part of a team in India supporting about 20+ subsidiaries and employees spanning 30+ countries in the world.  Ensuring compliance with the Company’s internal control procedures. This team will partner with the International and US accounting teams to ensure maintaining the necessary infrastructure, compliance and processes within our global operations.
Key non-routine responsibilities of the role include extending our current systems and processes to levels necessary to continue the Company’s rapid growth trajectory
The position will report to the Director of Accounting.
The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. The position requires a “hands on” person who is flexible, hard-working and able to work well under pressure. The primary duties and responsibilities of the role include below, but are not limited to
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Transition the whole Expense Reports audit process from the Travel and Facilities team.
  • Establish standardized procedures to outline TAT (turn around time) and grievance redressal forums.
  • Review all expense reports through Concur (expense management system).
  • Ensure that the proper controls are set up in Concur to identify non-compliant items.
  • Produce expenditure reports, trend analyses and operational risk performance reports.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues with non-compliant expense submissions.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes related to Expense reports accruals
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Provide insights and explanations for any dispute in expense reports.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support decision-making
  • Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Find opportunities for process improvements within the ER process.
  • Implement internal controls within the ER process.
 
 
Desired Skills & Experience: 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable or expense reporting.
  • Previous Concur experience is a must have.
  • The person should be comfortable in handling multi-geographies and multi-lingual expense reports. (Dutch, French, etc.)
  • The person should be able to handle the volume and the work pressure at times.
  • Proficient with MS Excel.
  • System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Concur and other cloud-based ERPs is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work independently, yet cooperatively and constructively, in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
