What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and business-focused Director of Federal Program Management Office to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. As the Director of Federal PMO, you will lead our Programs and FedRAMP and DoD/IL certifications. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our company meets the security requirements necessary to achieve and maintain FedRAMP and other certifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity, project management, and understanding of federal and cloud standards.
This role plays a pivotal role in driving effective product lifecycle management within the Forescout team. This role involves overseeing various strategic cross-functional initiatives, including portfolio-wide planning orchestration, launch readiness, and providing visibility to key stakeholders throughout the execution process.
Furthermore, one key program is to lead the FedRAMP Certification Process, overseeing the entire FedRAMP certification process from start to finish, ensuring all requirements are met and maintained. This includes initial assessments, documentation, audits, and continuous monitoring, working across Engineering, Product Management, and the external vendors, labs, and accelerator partners.
In this role, you will own the following:
- Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets for existing programs, and management of the FedRAMP certification process. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of all tasks and milestones.
- Compliance Management: Ensure that all FedRAMP requirements are understood and adhered to across the organization. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on FedRAMP standards and best practices.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage all external audits and assessments related to FedRAMP. Ensure that all necessary documentation and evidence are prepared and available for auditors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding all programs, being able to communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with all programs. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and projects. Stay informed about changes and updates to FedRAMP requirements and adjust processes accordingly.
- Cross-functional orchestration: Act as single point of contact in deploying releases into operation, including streamlining and orchestrating communication and product lifecycle activities amongst multiple product teams and other parts of the organization.
- Product analytics management: Support Product Management with data and analytic insights required to drive product adoption outcomes, improve product design/features, and keep a pulse on product health.

- Product Lifecycle experience: 10-12+ years’ experience working in one or more facets of the product lifecycle (e.g., as a product manager, product operations, project management) is essential, as this role requires strong experience and deep knowledge of the end-to-end product lifecycle management process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with different teams such as Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure that the product meets the needs of all stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: In addition to exceptional program management skills and experience, but also be able to create and implement processes and systems that ensure operational excellence across the organization.
- Impactful Reporting and Executive Communications: Create and present clear and concise reports that communicate product performance and progress to executive stakeholders.
- Trusted team player: Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; Be “humble, hungry & smart”.
- Self-motivated: Able to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Microsoft Office experience (Project, Power Point, Excel), Jira, and Confluence toolsets. Experience with monday.com is a plus.
