What You Will Do 
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Technical Writer to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team.  In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Write technical content focused on driving customer success and enablement. 
  • Help evolve technical writing guidelines and playbooks for different formats and channels. 
  • Work in an Agile environment with frequent release cycles. 
  • Work closely with non-traditional stakeholders to create and update content beyond standard, development-centric documentation. 
  • Take an active role in your team’s learning and growth. 
 
 
What You Bring to Forescout
We encourage you to apply if you meet most but not all the requirements listed below.  We value competency, aptitude, effort, and a great attitude as a supplement to experience 
  • 3-7 years of experience developing end-user documentation for cloud-based SaaS products, with some overlap with on-premise software as our technology evolves. 
  • Not only are you a writer, but you have a keen interest in learning the technology and tools used in creating technical content. 
  • Words like Oxygen, GitHub, Markdown, storytelling, and customer success match up to different wrenches in your toolbox. 
  • You have a passion for creating technical content that speaks to all levels of users and solves problems they didn’t know they had. 
  • You’re comfortable with Agile practices and being part of a scrum team (or two). Multitasking and project management will serve you well here. 
  • You understand the importance and impact that cybersecurity has in all of our lives and are ready to pick up the cyber shield.
