The Media team is responsible for developing comprehensive omnichannel media campaigns to meet client goals. This includes media channel strategy, tactical recommendations, including RFP development, and projections analyses to determine spend by channel and by tactic. The media team gathers target audience insights from research tools and media partner insights, including consumption habits, channel preference, etc. and collaborates with account, strategy and creative teams to ensure that media strategies are properly integrated within larger marketing programs and creative executions.

  • Responsible for the development of clients’ social media campaign objectives based on larger strategic imperatives and brand goals
  • Oversees the strategy as it relates to targeting, keyword research, ad copy development, landing page assignments, and KPIs/measurement objectives with consideration for campaign outcomes beyond the click, such as deep content engagement and Rx conversion
  • Oversees the analysis of performance data and development of analytics reports, including performance insights and optimization recommendations, and develops actionable insights that maximize engagement and conversion opportunities
  • Oversees the bid management, analysis, and optimization of daily budgets, campaign performance, click and conversion rates, ROI, etc
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for optimization and expansion and sees through to implementation
  • Serves as the main point of contact for client relationships
  • Collaborates with media, digital/engagement strategy, medical strategy, creative, and account teams to establish and evolve search and/or social capability offerings, strategies, and processes
  • Trains, manages, and mentors junior team members to establish knowledge social processes and best practices and to ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Works with direct reports and operations teams to develop scopes and staff plans and maintains responsibility for team utilization, deadlines, and pacing
  • Passion for data-driven marketing and the healthcare space, staying up to date on the latest trends and best practices in paid search and/or social channels and growing vendor relationships
  • Vets and onboards new search and social partners to achieve client goals and strategies while staying on top of emerging media trends
  • Ability to proactively solve problems, improve processes, create efficiencies, and contribute to POVs and team thought leadership

    Know-how:

    • 6+ years experience in social media strategy, including paid management, social content strategy, organic, profile management, and analytics across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Reddit
    • Familiarity with regulated industries and how social media is utilized within the pharmaceutical category
    • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills to draw actionable insights and recommendations from social media performance and engagement
    • Ability to manage a team and to partner with individuals across functions to articulate strategies and best practices thoughtfully and to the point
