Objectives of this role:

The Project Manager has responsibility for multichannel projects of large-scale, size or complexity, potentially managing multiple client brands. In this role, the Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality campaigns/projects that drive client satisfaction and meet business requirements. This PM works to ensure the execution of high-priority work, optimal resource management, executional excellence, timeline management, and project-level financials. This individual does not compromise on the cost/quality/speed equation!


Duties and Responsibilities:

 Communication

  • Presents complex data or messages in clear, succinct, compelling manner (internal/external)
  • Complex problem-solver
  • Manages resource expectations; escalate issues to appropriate department lead along with potential solutions
  • Leads internal and external meetings and drives teams to resolutions, conclusions, and action
  • Competency in presentation skills as well as excellent written and oral communication

 Project Management

  • Leads multichannel projects of large-scale size or complexity; potentially multiple client brands
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality campaigns/projects that drive client satisfaction, meet business requirements
  • Creates and manages all project documentation (project plans/road maps, scopes and change orders, requirements, financial reporting)
  • Mitigates risk by working with the team to identify plan integrity, budget and timeline impact, scenario planning; communicates to internal team
  • Proactively identifies, proposes, and/or collaborates on opportunities to adjust processes for efficiencies
  • Supports operations leadership as needed 

Financial 

  • Responsible for financial health of brand or assigned projects; actively manages scopes, including all change management requirements
  • Collaborates with account on future scoping/planning exercises
  • Contributes to complex statement of work documentation quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborates, as needed, with account and finance in the reconciliation and billing process

 Training/Toolset

  • Mastery of Ziflow, Workamajig; MS Office Suite (intermediate-level Excel)
  • Mastery of the brand’s regulatory process and client submission systems, as it relates to project planning
  • Work with account during new client onboarding to understand and execute planning based on client needs and expectations
  • Conflict resolution training

 Job Requirements:

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

Experience:

  • 2-3 + years project management experience
  • Previous experience at a promotional medical education or medical advertising agency. Digital/Interactive agency experience required with strong understanding of web technology and infrastructure

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess leadership qualities and command authority naturally. Be an optimistic and supportive leader viewed in a favorable light and valued by the organization
  • Simultaneously possess both soft people skills and strong, hands-on project management skills
  • Professional presentation and polished client management skills
  • Proficient in Workamajig time management tool, MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
