Who we are looking for:

First Eagle is seeking an Analyst to join their Institutional and International Wealth Solutions Team. This position will provide broad exposure to the non-US investment management business and the investment strategies that First Eagle offers. This hire will sit in the London office and be part of a growing team in Europe charged with executing the non-US business strategy. The role also provides the foundation and skills necessary for potential growth into a client service or business development position.


What you will do:

  • Assist with onboarding of new clients, both institutional and wealth management, onto the firms recently established ICAV platform
  • Research new potential clients using industry publications, intelligence databases and other sources of information
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting; working with internal teams, take ownership of disseminating other materials (thought leadership, factsheets etc.) to contacts
  • Conduct competitive analysis on product strategies, trends in the marketplace, conference presentations, and other related materials to assist in the sales process
  • Source data for and respond to ad hoc requests from clients, prospects, and investment consultants (e.g., performance, attribution, portfolio data, stock commentary)
  • Coordinate and assemble presentation materials for meetings with clients, prospects, and investment consultants
  • Maintain updated information in the team’s CRM system ensuring accurate information on meeting activities, distribution lists and pipeline status
  • Interface and cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, including investment teams, marketing, IT, compliance, and operations
  • Serve as backup for fellow Analysts/Associates during absences or periods of uneven workflow


The qualities you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field, with at least 2 years of financial services experience or relevant internships
  • Experience with the UK market (Defined Contribution and Wealth Management) is preferred
  • Desire to be part of a growing business, willing to take on different tasks and possess a growth mindset
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial and resourceful–someone who “makes it happen” with a “can-do” attitude
  • A strong work ethic that accommodates occasional last-minute projects and other urgent needs of the team that may require non-standard work hours
  • A demonstrated interest in markets and commercial acumen
  • English language proficiency required
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A collegial and collaborative team player
