Who we are looking for:    

First Eagle Investments is seeking an Institutional Services AVP or VP to join our Institutional and International Wealth Management (IWM) team, to support our business development and client service efforts. The AVP/VP will provide deputy coverage to the Head of Institutional and IWM Services, contribute to the team’s core operations, and oversee key projects that focus on process improvement and automation.  In addition, you will collaborate and build relationships with other internal departments – including Operations, Legal and Compliance, Finance, and Investment teams. This position will provide broad exposure to our institutional investment management business and our investment strategies.    

  

What you will do:     

  • Consultative support to the Head of Institutional and IWM Services including onboarding/offboarding of major client relationships, complex client requests, Investment Management Agreements, side letters, Subscription Agreements and Amendments
  • Lead projects to institutionalize and build process as well as ad-hoc improvement projects including monitoring project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; track progress to meet deadlines
  • Focus on process efficiency for all required data and documents to support the Institutional and International Wealth Management (IWM) team while tracking existing contractual obligations
  • Proactively identify issues that may impact project deliverables and facilitate the evaluation of alternatives and solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach
  • Work cross functionally to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and implement changes; analyze decisions and escalate more complex issues to senior management for resolution.
  • Resolve client-related issues by strategizing and problem-solving with relevant internal teams, including Sales, Portfolio Operations, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal and Compliance
  • Provide backup on the day-to-day operations, including subscription and redemption processes for separate accounts, mutual funds, and private funds; team flows, client onboardings and terminations

     

The qualities you should have:    

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field
  • At least 8+ years of financial services experience in client services within institutional asset managementincluding project management; operations background a plus
  • Project management and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Salesforce or Monday.com a plus
  • Attention to detail with the organizational skills to multi-task well under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a positive outlook and can-do attitude
  • Keen sense of personal accountability, integrity, and work ethic

    

    

Base Salary range: $125,000 to $160,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
