First Capital Summer Intern Program gives young professionals access to enriching opportunities to start and accelerate their careers. Our program is uniquely hands-on, allowing Interns to work alongside our leaders on exciting new projects and strategies. As the Data & Automation Intern, you will work closely with the Data & Automation team to support incident response, knowledge management, and process automation initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Data & Automation, you will also assist with testing, user training, and other operational tasks as needed. Your responsibilities will include managing assigned incidents, documenting processes by creating and updating knowledge base articles, and completing a process automation project aimed at improving the team’s overall efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Respond to IT support tickets promptly and professionally.
- Triage incoming tickets and attempt resolution using knowledge base resources.
- Collaborate with team members to improve and maintain the quality of knowledge base content.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Degree in Computer Science, Business Technology, or related program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Familiarity with IT support processes and willingness to learn new tools and systems.

OUR APPLICATION PROCESS:
Our Summer Internships/Co-Ops are four-month, paid, in-person opportunities commencing on May 4, 2026, and concluding on August 21, 2026. Interns must be available on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the program.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and only selected candidates will be invited for interviews with our team. Successful candidates should expect to hear from us by late February once the application period has closed.
