Summer 2026 | Early June Through Late July | Frisco, TX
Job Description
FC Dallas is hosting the Soccer Celebration — a free, 39-day public event at Simpson Plaza (adjacent to Toyota Stadium) in Frisco, TX running June 11–July 19, 2026. With 2,000+ daily attendees, giant match screens, food and beverage components, interactive activations, retail, and live entertainment, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain real-world experience in large-scale sports event operations. Interns will begin the first week of June to assist with event set up, receive proper training, etc.
What You’ll Do
- Support event setup, breakdown, and day-to-day site operations
- Staff fan activations and help deliver exceptional guest experience
- Assist with crowd management, guest services, and attendee support
- Help manage event inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Collaborate with FC Dallas staff across departments and perform other duties as assigned
You Are:
- Energetic, reliable, and fan-focused with a positive attitude
- Able to work outdoors in summer conditions and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- A strong communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
- Committed to your scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college, graduate student, Sport Management, Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Reliable transportation to Simpson Plaza in Frisco, TX required
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 lbs; move objects exceeding 50 lbs
- Prior event, gameday, or customer service experience preferred
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
