About the Opportunity
This role assists and supports all categories of the FASHIONPHILE Photography Department. Primarily focused on photographing size-reference shots of bags on the Mannequin station in our Chelsea Flagship, photographing flat-lays such as scarves on the Flats station, and sending inventory-bound products to the cage. They will work with a team of Photographers to meet daily productivity levels and assist in producing photography of luxury merchandise to high-quality standards. The Photography Assistant is responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Photography of mannequin and lay-flats
  • Assist photographers with prepping, tagging, and sending products to inventory
  • Maintaining workflow that ensures daily production requirements
What We’re Looking For
  • Knowledge of photographic techniques including lighting and composition
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Productivity-focused and a quick problem solver
  • Ability to effectively communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a multi-team environment
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Previous photography experience 
  • Beginner-level proficiency with industry-standard software tools (Capture One Pro, Mac OS, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Pay Rate: This position begins at $21/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's New York location.
