About the Opportunity:

The Senior Financial Analyst role is a newly created remote position based in the New York tri-state area and will be responsible for providing meaningful insight about how to improve business operations and drive profitability. It is a foundational piece within Finance as we look to grow the business. Responsibilities include:  

• Developing comprehensive financial plans and forecasts that align with organizational objectives 

• Overseeing the monitoring of budget vs. actual results, analyzing variances, and developing strategies to optimize financial outcomes 

• Extracting data from SQL databases for use in financial modeling 

• Transferring data into useable formats to be used in actionable analysis 

• Optimizing data procurement 

• Validating existing data for accuracy 

• Automating data pulls for business users 

• Enhancing financial models to support long term planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives related to the company’s operating, advertising, and capital expenses 

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience 

• Advanced knowledge of Excel 

• Ability to communicate complex data 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Familiarity with data management tools 

• Excellent attention to detail 

• Nice to have: Experience querying and writing SQL

Compensation:

Pay Scale: FASHIONPHILE reasonably expects the range to be $69,000-$79,500 for this position in our National location and $90,000-$110,000 for this position in our Chelsea, NY location. Offered compensation will vary based on (a) location; (b) individual candidate qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
