What you will do: 
As a Junior Product Manager, you will assist the product team in creating and updating digital products that make a significant difference in the lives of people searching or working in real estate. You will help the Director of Product Management with the product roadmap, and prioritize the work that binds everything together. You’ll work alongside a cross-functional team of engineers and designers. As an important member of the product team, you have excellent communication and team relationship building skills and can take ownership of delivering updates, new features, and epics..  You’ll learn to oversee the agile cycle & processes of  one of our development teams and make sure we are using the team's time and efforts efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior product managers in making sure software, features and functions  created correctly and as specified within the requirements documents
  • Aid in creating and maintaining product update requests, prioritizing development work, and communicating their status
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful platform update delivery
  • Write user stories, support tickets and feature documentation
  • Run internal meetings, taking notes and updating our collaboration workspace as required 
  • Champion the product across the organization and consistently look for ways to improve and deliver experiences to audiences that drive business results
  • Execute and analyze user research, competitor and behavioural data analysis to develop feature recommendations and identify opportunities for growth and engagement
  • Assist in  the management of epics and ticket backlog
  • Conducting user acceptance testing
  • Draft and maintain requirements documentation, product faqs, process docs, etc. where necessary
  • Additional duties as required by the business as it grows and develops
How you will grab our attention: 
  • A Post secondary degree / diploma in marketing, business, product management or project management, or 3+ years experience working within a product/technology company
  • An interest in any of the following: Product management, start-up companies, digital marketing,  engineering or related fields
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate specifications effectively
  • Good ownership of issues, influencing the team, following through to completion and updating management and the team on delivery and any issues encountered
  • Interest in Real estate, technology and the tech industry
  • Highly organized  with an ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a busy often changing environment
  • Problem solving with an ability to see the bigger picture and comfortable in a  fast-paced, collaborative and growth-minded workplace
  • Strong commitment to take ownership and make an impact while delivering quality updates
  • Nice to Have:
  • Agile knowledge and exposure to other product management frameworks, processes, and tools
  • User experience understanding
  • Attended project management courses
  • Experience in Figma or a design system software

The starting base pay for this position is $60,000 CAD per year in our lowest geographic cost of living market and is dependent upon many factors such as location, experience, skills, and training. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package offered to employees in recognition of their hard work and is determined within a range to allow for growth and development within a role.
