Eastside Health Network Managed Care/Financial Analyst - Per Diem

Wage Range: $34.72 - $55.55 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting with the data and analytical aspects of contracts and financial management. The analyst provides evaluation of managed care contracts and general financial analytical work utilizing SQL, Tableau, Excel and/or other analytical tools. Supports the Eastside Health Network’s operational and financial reporting needs, including general analysis, budgeting, monthly performance reporting, and distribution of flow of funds to EHN participating practices. Monitors contract performance and other key contract statistics for periodic reporting, completes ad hoc analysis to support business needs, and assists in the development of specific contracting strategies.
Primary Duties:
- Provides senior level financial support to Eastside Health Network (EHN) including complex analysis, budget support, flow of funds, settlements, and practice distributions.
- Serves as primary owner of budget for the organization.
- Responsible for monthly EHN financial and performance reporting related to budgeting, banking reconciliation, and the month end process.
- Completes analyses and financial projections through understanding and interpretation of the three funds flow revenue streams, reimbursement schedules, and reconciliation of EHN revenue.
- Responsible for the planning and execution for seven board approved disbursements to all network participating TINs and providers.
- Provides reporting and decision-making support to EHN leadership by developing and maintaining financial databases and spreadsheets related to EHN revenue, income, and taxes.
- Presents analysis and findings to EHN leadership, Board of Directors, and committees.
- Participates in high-level committees and provides financial support to develop and complete specialized statistical and financial analysis reports on payer volumes, payments, expenses etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or health administration.
- 2 years of experience with health care, financial analysis and/or managed care contracts.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to drill-down to most relevant findings and communicate data driven insights.
- Proven experience in financial/business analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills including Excel template building.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and competing priorities.

- Experience with patient accounting and claims billing and associated codes
- Experience with complex business modeling
- Basic understanding of relational databases
