Wage Range: $37.77 - $60.42 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining complex imaging and medical equipment through the effective implementation of EvergreenHealth’s Medical Equipment Management Plan. This position requires demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, maintenance, calibration, repair, and quality assurance of X-ray and cardiac catheterization (cath lab) imaging systems.
Primary Duties:
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on imaging equipment across EvergreenHealth Kirkland, Monroe, and affiliated clinics.
- Manages and maintains documentation supporting imaging services operations.
- Oversees equipment recalls and cybersecurity compliance for imaging systems.
- Utilizes technology platforms to track issues, perform trend analysis, and support applications, networks, systems, and storage; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Performs preventative maintenance and accurately document maintenance activities and repairs in the Biomedical CMMS.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues related to imaging equipment.
- Supports and maintains imaging equipment including GE, OEC C-Arms, Shimadzu portable units, and fixed radiology rooms.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Sometimes will work out of the Monroe clinics.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 7 years of experience in the electronics and/or computer industry, preferably in the field service or clinical support environment,
- Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including Federal and State radiation performance standards, equipment registration, Quality Systems Regulations (QSR), EPA regulation, and OSHA standards.
- Must have a current Washington State Driver’s license and proof of insurability.
DESIRED for the position:
- Manufacturer certification or equivalent hands-on experience with imaging systems from FE OEC, Shimadzu, Siemens, or similar vendors.
