Join EPCOR as a Fleet Coordinator and help support the essential services that keep our communities running. In this role, you’ll provide day‑to‑day fleet support, coordinate maintenance, and partner with operators and vendors to keep our vehicles safe, compliant, and reliable. You’ll manage fleet data, monitor telematics, and help identify trends that improve efficiency and performance across EPCOR’s growing fleet. This position also supports procurement, vendor relationships, and special projects that strengthen our operations. What you’d be responsible for
- Fleet Coordination, Provide front line day to day support and troubleshooting to operators on fleet issues, practices, policies, telematics usage, and safety procedures etc. to include schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), inspections, and repairs with internal teams and external vendors. Track and follow up on work orders, downtime, and service tickets. Serve as a point of contact for operators, mechanics, and third-party service providers.
- Fleet Data Management, maintain accurate asset records including VINs, mileage, service history, warranty status, and registration details. Update and audit data in fleet management software (e.g., Merchants Total View, Holman Insights, Geotab, or other CMMS/FMS tools). Monitor telematics data for usage trends, location, and vehicle health diagnostics.
- Compliance & Documentation, ensure all assets meet regulatory compliance (DOT, emissions, licensing, title management, inspections) Maintain records for audits and regulatory reporting. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of vehicles and equipment.
- Fleet Analysis & Reporting, Support and execute strategy development with the Manager, Fleet, track KPIs: uptime, cost per mile/hour, PM compliance, repair turnaround, fuel usage, and lifecycle costs, Identify trends and flag assets with high repair costs or chronic issues. Generate regular reports for management and make data-driven recommendations.
- Vendor Support & Procurement, Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring performance standards and cost-effectiveness, assist in spec comparisons, and purchase coordination of new vehicles/equipment. Coordinate rentals or short-term replacements when needed.
- Health, Safety, Coordinate with Health and Safety to report vehicle accident/incident to the insurance carrier and coordinate repair.
- Other ad-hoc projects as required
What’s required to be successful
- High School Diploma.
- An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.
- 1+ years of experience in fleet, logistics, maintenance coordination, or operations support
- Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
- Knowledge of Fleet Management best practices, risks and solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with fleet management or maintenance software.
- Experience with telematics platforms and vendor management.
- Understanding of DOT/FMCSA or OSHA requirements.
- Knowledge of light/heavy-duty vehicle systems and equipment.
- Ability to identify and analyze opportunities for process improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with all levels of an organization
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional setting
- Ability to critically think through a problem, effectively communicates the problem, solve the problem and overcome barriers to success
- Ability to provide Subject Matter Expertise
Physical Requirements
- Occasional standing and walking/getting up and down throughout shift during breaks
- Ability to sit for long periods of time; up to 8 hours each day
