We are hiring a full-time, permanent Analyst, IS Infrastructure PMO position working out of Edmonton.
As an IS Infrastructure PMO Analyst, you play a key role in supporting both the IS Infrastructure PMO team by collaborating with business units, infrastructure department, other departments, and external vendors. Your work spans project reporting, governance support, staff augmentation coordination, and managing project management tools. You also handle essential project administration tasks—from financial requests to workflow activities—while supporting IS Infrastructure Projects. In addition, you serve as a central resource for project managers, guiding them through PMO items, deliverable workflow approvals, financial reconciliations, monthly and year‑end accruals, and coordinating key operational tasks, and maintain information regarding IS Infrastructure Contingent resources.

What you’d be responsible for
- Performing project governance by auditing projects, ensuring SDLC compliance, and maintaining documentation, tools, and performance and resource‑utilization reporting.
- Administering and supporting project management tools and investigating/ resolving related issues with internal teams.
- Delivering project and financial reporting, resolving discrepancies through analysis, fulfilling operational requests, and maintaining project tools, templates, documentation, and permissions.
- Coordinating the full life-cycle of contractor resources by managing vendor postings, interviews, onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely access to systems and equipment, processing Onboarding/Offboarding requests and extensions, and upholding security standards.
- Providing initial and ongoing training and support to contingent project resources in the PMO processes and the effective use of PMO tools and dashboards.
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with preferred vendors and internal groups.
- Ensuring compliance with shared mailbox processes by responding, providing follow‑ups, escalating when needed, and identifying conflicting requests.
- Supporting project governance reviews, coordinating financial information, reconciling financials, running weekly and monthly contractor time reports, and adjusting timecards as required.
- Demonstrating high performance, discipline, attention to detail, safety, accountability, innovation, urgency, awareness, adaptability to change, and an easy‑to‑do‑business‑with approach.
- Performing other duties as required by the Manager, Infrastructure Program Delivery.
What’s required to be successful
- Completion of a Diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems Management (or a related field; Business, Computer Science, Project Management) from a recognized post-secondary educational institute.
- 4+ years of directly related Project Management and/ or Project Management Office experience with at least 2 years professional experience in Information Technology projects.
- Experience working in a Project Management Office environment is preferred.
- Understanding of basic accounting practices or having an accounting background.
- Detailed knowledge of project management related processes and procedures.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (including knowledge of macros, pivot tables, etc).
- Experience as a SharePoint site owner or extensive use of SharePoint (including permissions management and workflows) is preferred.
- Proficient in organizational, logical problem-solving and mathematical skills.
- Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while managing and prioritizing individual workload.
- Ability to learn new tasks and technologies quickly.

Experiences considered as assets for this role:
- Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Experience with Oracle Applications including Oracle Projects, Oracle Purchase Orders/Receiving, Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), or similar financial or enterprise resource systems would be considered as a strong asset.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience with OnePlan.

Wage: Starting at $49.93 per hour
- Final Wage and Step will be determined at the time of selection and based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
