Role Overview
This position repairs, troubleshoots and performs other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of avionics systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Performs troubleshooting and repairs on aircraft avionics systems and components
  • Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes as required
  • Ensures all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector
  • Locates and uses appropriate technical data accomplish tasks
  • Supports, maintains, and complies with all Environmental, Health and Safety, Federal, OSHA, State, and Local regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
  • Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
  • High school graduate or equivalency degree required
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43. 91, 135, 145
  • Experience working with and repairing the following aircraft systems: Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot, and Static Systems
  • Bench repair capabilities preferred
  • Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Production Inspector
 
Licenses:
  • Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
  • FCC License preferred

The wage scale for this position is based on experience, qualifications and performance. Specific compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to; minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
