As an aviation Seat Technician, you will be responsible for creating and installing high-quality upholstery for a variety of aircraft. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the stitching to the finishing touches.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Works with leather and fabrics to cut, pattern, and sew aircraft seating
- Strips coverings from existing interior panels, prep various substrates and re-cover with new materials
- Performs routing and complex sewing operations
- Repairs damaged interior panels
- Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
- Reads and understand aircraft drawings/STC’s and work authorization documentations.
- Researches aircraft maintenance and parts manuals to fulfill general job function.
- Understands and follow internal process and work scope compliance.

Other requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
- Experience in foam, build-up, evaluation, disassembly and assembly of seating components

Salary & Benefits
Wage Scale:
The wage scale for this position ranges from $19.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and performance. Specific compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to; minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
