Egnyte, the leader in cloud-based content collaboration and governance, is seeking a driven and resourceful Federal Account Executive to champion our secure, unified platform within the U.S. government landscape. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Egnyte's federal initiatives, collaborating with agencies to solve their mission-critical data challenges, and driving revenue growth.    



  • Identify and qualify high-potential leads within your assigned federal agencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across your territory.
  • Proactively educate decision-makers on Egnyte's industry-leading platform and its value proposition for government agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, and product) to tailor solutions and proposals to meet specific agency needs.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through contract award and implementation.
  • Work with and through Partners serving the Federal space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government agencies.
  • Stay informed about federal IT trends and regulations to effectively position Egnyte in the market.
  • Contribute to and participate in the development of Egnyte's federal sales strategy.



  • A seasoned sales professional with at least 10 years of experience in the federal IT space, ideally focused on cybersecurity or collaboration solutions.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing and fostering strong relationships with government decision makers.
  • An expert in navigating the complexities of the federal procurement process, including GSA schedules, FAR regulations, and contract vehicles.
  • A deep understanding of the unique data security and collaboration needs of U.S. government agencies.
  • A skilled communicator with exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • A self-motivated and resourceful individual with the ability to independently manage your territory and pipeline.
  • A passionate advocate for Egnyte's solutions and a firm believer in our mission to unlock the power of data for positive impact.
  • Experience working with and through Partners serving the Federal space.



  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations and pay varies based on defined markets. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
