The Egnyte Product team is looking for a passionate, strategic, and hands-on UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end design of complex product areas — from discovery and research through final delivery. You will be a key design voice in cross-functional conversations, helping shape not just what we design, but why. You will work alongside a team of talented designers on web, mobile, and desktop applications, and play a meaningful role in evolving our Design System.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead end-to-end UX design for multiple features and mid-to-large-sized product initiatives, owning the work from problem definition through final handoff
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define user needs, frame the right problems, and deliver cohesive solutions
  • Produce the full range of design artifacts — early concept sketches, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and polished high-fidelity designs in Figma
  • Leverage AI tools (including Figma Make, Claude, ChatGPT, and others) as part of your daily workflow to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, content generation, design iteration, and prototyping[1][2][HA3]
  • Apply Lean UX and hypothesis-driven approaches to validate design decisions early and often with real users
  • Conduct user research — including ethnographic research and usability testing — and translate findings into design improvements[PB4]
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data (analytics, usability sessions, surveys) to identify friction points and inform design improvements
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders through clear, compelling design presentations and facilitated working sessions
  • Actively contribute to and help maintain the Egnyte Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product suite
  • Participate in design critiques, providing thoughtful, constructive feedback to peers
  • Contribute to design operations, documentation, and team processes

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience designing B2B or B2C SaaS enterprise applications (not website or marketing creative design)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design thinking, complex problem solving, and polished execution — required
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional design projects with ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to team growth
  • Deep proficiency with Figma
  • Hands-on experience working within and contributing to Design Systems
  • Proficient using AI tools (Figma Make, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) as a regular part of your design and research workflow[5]
  • Practitioner of Lean UX; fluent in research methods including usability testing, interviews, and surveys
  • Minimalistic, modern, and clean design sensibilities with strong visual design instincts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to articulate design rationale confidently to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with Engineering and Product partners
  • Bonus: Experience designing AI-powered features
