As a Sr Project Manager on the Business Management & Execution team, you’ll play a pivotal role by successfully managing and executing multiple cross-functional, strategic projects designed to accelerate business results.  This role requires close collaboration with business, technology, marketing, legal, and other partners to document desired outcomes, identify activities required to achieve these outcomes, plan the resources, sequence activities, and manage execution to deliver new products, services or enhancements to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify program / project scope and high-level business objectives.
• Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with leaders and internal partners to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Effectively manage, motivate, and hold accountable leads and team members in a matrixed organization.
• Act as liaison and connector between departments.
• Ability to perform all project management functions to expertly deliver complex programs and projects in a fluid and dynamic environment. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience. 5-10+ years’ relevant work experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry, specifically in Wealth Management and Employer Services.  
• Strong foundational project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Project and project management software.
• Excellent attention to detail; able to coordinate, prioritize and manage many simultaneous tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to use interpersonal skills to influence without authority.

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $107,500 - $143,400. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
