As a Recordkeeping Administrator on the Retirement Services team, you’ll report to the Senior Director of Retirement Services. You will be responsible for the daily recordkeeping, reconciliation, and data management of qualified retirement plans using FIS Relius Administration software. 
 
We are looking for someone who is highly experienced in the small plan retirement recordkeeping market. If you are an individual with a strong background recordkeeping qualified plans such as 401k/Profit Sharing, New Comparability, Cross-tested and Cash Balance Pension Plans within a TPA environment, strong knowledge of plan operations and can manage multiple client relationships efficiently, this may be the opportunity for you! 
  
Responsibilities: 
  • Day-to day Retirement Plan recordkeeping administration
  • Maintain and reconcile plan data using FIS Relius Administration software
  • Process and review contribution files, participant transactions, loans and distributions
  • Communicate directly with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and payroll providers
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all plan transactions and reporting
  • Collaborate with other administrators and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Ability to interpret Plan documents, Compliance Testing Results, 5500’s
  • Complete Plan Corrections
  • Stay current on IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations affecting qualified retirement plans
 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Retirement Plan Recordkeeping/ 401(k) plan administration
  • Proficiency with FIS Relius Administration (required)
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations governing qualified plans
  • Strong Excel and data management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
  • ASPPA or NIPA credentials (QKA, QKC, etc.) a plus but not required
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $89,800 - $100,000.  However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
