As a Sr. Writer on the Creative team, you’ll work directly with a design partner – and collaborate closely with the marketing team – to develop paid social ads, short form content, YouTube content, banners, search and other performance marketing materials.

Portfolio required.

This is a test and learn environment and provides an opportunity to explore multiple solutions. A portfolio that demonstrates experience in performance marketing – and an appreciation for the power of the written word – is preferred.

 Responsibilities: 

• Work collaboratively with creative, marketing and development partners to create acquisition focused creative (banner ads, social media ads, landing pages, etc.) that will be activated through various channels.
• Lead projects from concepting through execution, results and ongoing optimization based on key performance indicators.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects focused on digital acquisition.
• Deliver best-in-class voice & tone work.
• Contribute to implementation of AI tools to drive scale and performance.

Requirements: 

• 5 to 8 years of related experience
• Financial services experience preferred (but not required)
• Problem solver with the ability to think strategically.
• Understanding and depth of knowledge in working with digital channels (specifically paid channels)
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $96,000-128,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
