The Enterprise Program Manager will be responsible for the successful management and execution of multiple cross-functional, strategic projects designed to accelerate business results. This role requires close collaboration with business, technology, marketing, legal, and other partners to document desired outcomes, identify activities required to achieve these outcomes, plan the resources, sequence activities, and manage execution against the agreed upon plan.
 
Communication, leadership, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution
  • Work with business sponsor to identify and prioritize multiple projects and build multi-quarter programmatic roadmap.
  • Identify program / project scope and high-level business objectives.
  • Perform project management functions to ensure successful execution for deadline driven projects.
  • Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with leaders and internal partners to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Effectively manage, motivate, and hold accountable leads and team members in a matrixed organization.
  • Act as liaison and connector between departments.
  • Perform other related assignments as requested by management.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Set and continually manage expectations with team members and other partners, tailoring communication to various audience levels.
  • Demonstrate solution-oriented approach.
  • Effective meeting facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Apply business knowledge and communication skills to effectively influence all project and non-project partners.
  • Interface across the organization to drive outcomes and challenge perspectives when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience. 5-10+ years’ relevant work experience in financial services.
  • Strong foundational project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Project and project management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail; able to coordinate, prioritize and manage many simultaneous tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to use interpersonal skills to influence without authority.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $81,300-$114,300. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
