We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Power & Renewables team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
What You Will Do:
- You will work on the Senior Leadership agenda and high-priority projects critical to the success of Enverus
- Build and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure of data ingestion, data processing, machine learning, and data dissemination
- Design observable tracking and alerting systems
- Enjoy a range of firm-wide social activities. The teams engage in regular socials around the year fostering a collaborative and intellectual environment for innovation
What You Should Have:
- 4+ years of experience working with data-rich applications
- Extensive experience building backend applications using Python
- Experience with using Kafka, SQL, and no-SQL databases
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team on assigned projects and tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to prioritize, raise issues, and resolve tough problems in a timely fashion to meet business deadlines
- Self-motivated, task-oriented personality with a strong work ethic and desire to learn
