As part of the Power and Renewables Business Unit, you will be instrumental in developing tools supporting renewable energy providers' rapid growth, focusing on congestion analysis and forecasting. Using the latest technologies, you will help provide one-of-a-kind data solutions for power traders and asset managers to help them make smart decisions for our future.

The Team:
As part of the Marginal Unit Team, you will be a key contributor to Enverus's fastest-growing product line. We pair complex algorithms and machine learning with powerful computational infrastructure and an intuitive UI that is unmatched in the industry. Small, fast-paced, and highly educated, this team is looking for other brilliant minds to help them change the landscape of our collective energy future.
 
What You Will Do: 
  • Assist in maintaining data pipelines and contribute to sourcing data from various providers
  • Support the development and optimization of algorithms and computing infrastructures under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Help monitor systems for data streaming and ingestion, and make improvements as needed
 
What You Will Have:
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to working in a complex technical domain
  • Basic understanding of data collection and the ability to work with data from multiple sources
  • Some experience in backend development in Python
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (e.g., GCP, AWS), and interest in working with containerization technologies like Docker
  • Willingness to learn Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools
