Dotdash Meredith is expanding and looking to add a Content Engineer to supplement our award-winning team. This is a contract role for up to 32 hours per week, starting at 6 months.  

About Your Role:

We are looking for a part-time, contract Content Engineer to update and expand the Dotdash Meredith corporate website, which tells our story for advertisers, media, trade and anyone interested in learning more about our company and our 40+ amazing brands.

About Your Contributions: 

• Manage content, design elements, layout, and styling of the site through the Prismic content management system
• Develop custom pages and components in the Vue+Nuxt SSR engine that powers the site
• Integrate with external APIs for custom onsite behavior, e.g. displaying current job listings
• Work directly with designers and product owners to fully realize the product vision

About You:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar front-end or full-stack role
• Comfortable being a one-person team and engaging with all aspects of site creation
• Familiarity with VueJS, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git
• Publishing or digital media experience preferred but not required
• Willing to work within a flexible schedule of variable weekly hours
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent

Pay Rate - $65-80/hour
