The Senior Manager, IT Special Project Management is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple IT concurrent Special Project including but not limited to Merger and Acquisition (M&A). In this role, the individual will coordinate the work of various IT functions within the scope of a broader project.  He/she will also coordinate the work of Project Managers working under his supervision, on a as needed basis, and will work with them to ensure successful project outcomes through a disciplined project management process and in close collaboration with business partners, team members and various IT functions.

        

Key Responsibilities                                                                                  
Leadership: 
-        Build and lead a high-performing team of ad-hoc Project Managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to ensure a cohesive and skilled workforce while fostering a culture of collaboration, positive team environment, and provide direction in ambiguous situations.  
 
Planning and Scheduling 
-        Coordinate the activities of different project teams working toward a common purpose.
-        Support Project Managers in planning and structuring projects, consult on the use of project management tools.   
-        Create and maintain integrated schedules for projects, track program interdependencies, maintain and present status of the program.    
 
Delivery and Execution:
-        Establish and insure execution of project execution plans.
-        Oversee project delivery, plan and execute complex IT project and/or multiple concurrent projects using standard project management tools and processes.  
-        Ensure projects meet quality standards, deliverables, timelines, and budgets while addressing risks and issues proactively.
 
Financial Management and Resource Allocation:
-        Administer and manage budgets for executing various IT Special and M&A projects.
-        Ensure each project meets their individual budget.
-        Perform resource capacity analysis to ensure project resources are applied efficiently and effectively. 
-        Provide necessary resources to project teams for efficient execution.
-        Prioritize activities that lead to achieving the organization’s objectives.
  
Communication: 
-         Draft and present status updates using effective verbal and written communication.   
-        Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance, prepare regular reports and present insights to leadership. 
 
PMO Process Improvement:
-        Work in collaboration with Project Governance to Improve project management methodologies, tools and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the PMO.     
Change Management: 
-        Assist organizational change management (OCM) in proactively identifying and communicating business process changes and impacts to the organization.

-        Ability to lead IT project implementations and integrations.
-        Versatile IT professional with strong ability to handle different IT challenges seamlessly.
-        Extensive knowledge across different IT domains including Infrastructure, application, security and more.
-        Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-        Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users. 
-        Skilled in negotiating and problem-solving with both internal and external stakeholders. 
-        Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture. 
-        Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations. 
-        Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactively seek out information when necessary. 
-        Strong understanding of business requirement and general business acumen
-        Experience monitoring and managing vendor performance. 
 
Qualifications:
-        Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
-        PMP certification and/or training. 
-        15 years of hands-on experience across various IT domains with a deep understanding of infrastructure, applications, security, and other critical aspects.
-        10+ years of experience in IT Project Management including end-to-end experience for medium-to-large projects and programs, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
-        Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-        Knowledge of Project Management tools.
