  Job Summary:

Provide the facility with large project management services.  This position will develop, coordinate, and manage maintenance and capital projects and provide technical support to mill operations and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with Mill Operations and Maintenance by providing detailed project cost estimates, budgets and equipment design & installation. 
  • Implement projects by organizing resources, leading contractors, maintenance employees, inspectors and regulators.
  • Perform engineering evaluations and designs. 
  • Adhere to and enforce safety, environmental and other company policies.
  • Frontline Problem Solving
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis
  • Planning/leading the execution of outage work and activities

Required Education/Professional Experiences:

Minimum education, required certifications

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering BSME(T) or Civil Engineering. 
  • At least six years of Project Engineering experience.

 

Preferred Education/Professional Experiences:

Preferred education and certifications

  • Possess experience working within a Pulp and Paper Mill, Utility, Refinery or Other Chemical Manufacturing facility.
  • Have the ability to execute capital projects in an industrial setting.
  • The candidate must have strong working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
