Executive Compensation Analyst

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Executive Compensation and Well-Being, this role will provide overall support to the Executive Compensation team, notably conducting compensation benchmarking analyses, administration of equity based compensation programs and assists with the preparation and collection of data related to the annual Proxy statement and Human Resources Committee Board materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Executive Compensation team as needed during critical events, such as the annual long-term grant, Proxy filing and Human Resources Committee Board materials
  • Daily monitoring and processing of stock plan activities
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors and internal departments (Legal, Tax, Finance, and Audit) to assist with external and internal reporting requirements (SEC, audit reports)
  • Assist with the annual participant review and administer the payout of the Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)
  • Complete executive level compensation benchmark analyses
  • Coordinates submission of data for annual and ad-hoc executive compensation surveys
  • May provide support to broad-based compensation team as needed
  • Other projects may be assigned as needed to support the business

Required Qualifications/Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline
  • 3-5 years related work experience, preferable within corporate compensation, HR professional services or HR consulting firm
  • Understanding of Long Term Incentive Plan concepts and designs

Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experience:

  • Ability to analyze the process responsible for, recommended efficiencies to the process and implement the improved changes
  • CEP, CCP, or CECP certifications are a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English & French) is a plus
